This Is The Stolen Havens.

The Stolen Havens is a roleplaying game where you as a player have traveled through time and space by mysterious means and ended up in a world that is not your own.

You get to decide where you came from before you found yourself in the Havens, which in turn means you can play as any fantasy race you want, or you could make up one of your own. The game invites you to pick and choose and mix and match from everything to everywhere. The same goes for all the monsters you will encounter in the world; they have also transcended and can come from any type of fiction you want. You can basically pick up a monster book from any game system and convert it to The Stolen Havens on the fly.

The Havens are divided into large countries that accommodate different types of fantasy role-play. There is room for sword and sorcery, epic fantasy, whimsical fantasy, swashbuckling, and even dark or grim fantasy. The Havens is a playground for those who are bold and loves to move in wild circles and try new kinds of adventures every session. The countries are also big enough that you can adventure in a single country without getting bored.

You will play as a ranger, a contracted adventurer that’s suppose to make sure that the monsters that came to the world together with you do not come past the city gates.  It is a job that involves helping out cities threatened by monsters but also taking care of tasks that others do not want to do or doesn’t dare to. You will journey to places of opportunity to discover a world built on a structure that isn’t as stable as the Haveners will make you believe. If you start to scratch the surface, you will soon discover that the foundations on which the nations stand are quite fragile. If you are really lucky, you will also find the reason why you came here in the first place.

A Narrative Roleplaying Game.

The most famous tabletop roleplaying games on the market resemble a board game with some storytelling sprinkled on top, and the worlds you play in are so detailed from the start that it feels like you are playing in someone else’s creation.

In the Stolen Havens, we throw the board game roleplaying games out the window. Here, the character creation method and the game mechanics help the players to tell a story together. We don’t care how much damage your axe would do if you were a dwarven knight instead of an elven mage. We see our characters as a tool to tell fantastic stories, not a way to optimize dice rolls during anonymous monster fights.
